I decided to rewrite my personal website. And, this is it! As usual, I've gone for an entirely new set of technologies (it helps me to get perspective on the core set of technologies I use daily).
The site and the programming isn't perfect. I've been working on it for sometime, switching between various technologies and quite simply, procastinating. I've decided to launch it as is, a work in progress. Development of this site will undoubtedly, be the source of content within the site.
It is however, responsive :)
So, the technology stack this time is:
- wintersmith, which is a static site generator powered by node.js
- jade, scss and markdown, for templating, styling and content
- git, for versioning and distribution
I'm quite enjoying this stack, in the context of my personal site. The ability to just type out my words in markdown, rebuild using Wintersmith and then deploy using git, is rather simple, which is nice.
